This lake is so wonderful. Lago Grande Dam has magnificent water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Lago Grande, and great hiking is available along the Bob Woodruff Trail. Lago Grande gets a common amount of yearly precipitation; May is the month that gets the most rain, and December is the month with the least moisture. Turner Branch is near Lago Grande and is always a pleasure       to stop at; a splendid close by hotel is La Quinta Inn and Suites Allen. There are tremendous places to look at along the Trinity Trail, and since you're here you can play some golf at Woodbridge Golf Club. You could also stop at Monroe Lake since you're here at Lago Grande; it's nearby, and camping at Collin Park RV Resort and Marina is always a splendid experience. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Rowlett Creek,                  and Pyramids Hotel is a great place to get some rest. You definitely must have a thing about Lago Grande. You can run the rapids of Spring Creek River near Lago Grande, and camping is available at Lafon's RV Park. Lago Grande is not far at all from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington. High temperatures at Lago Grande all through the warm days of summer are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's. During the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Lago Grande.
