So many exciting things to do here at Krause Lake, too wonderful to be true. There's good hiking along the Guadalupe Park Trail, and Guadalupe River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by. For the period of the summer months at Krause Lake highs are usually in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's with       temperatures at Krause Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Krause Lake; Guadalupe River State Park Trail is a good local trail, and Canyon Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful. Krause Lake Dam is worth checking out if you're here, and a round of golf at nearby Rebecca Creek Golf Club is a glorious way to kill some time. Good hiking                  is available along the Old Hancock Trail, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cibolo Creek. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Krause Lake; the month with most of the rain is May, and January on the other hand is the driest. You're sure to encounter some good folks from San Antonio here; Canyon Lake Campground and RV Park is a wonderful local campground. Why not camp at Creek Hollow Recreational Vehicle Park while you're here at Krause Lake, and if you need a location to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Schertz is a magnificent choice.
