For the period of the long summer days highs here at Kingsland Lake get into the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 50's with temperatures at Kingsland Lake dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. There's magnificent hiking along the Inks Lake State Park Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at       everything Kingsland Lake has to offer, you can camp at Heart Of Texas Lake Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Cedar Point Recreation Area Trail. Don't leave Kingsland Lake without first paying a visit to Boil Spring, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy Creek. A pleasant close by hotel is Lake LBJ Motel, and why not take a little spree to Williams Creek if you're here. There's so much to do here at Kingsland                  Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rio Vista Resort is a good site for that, and if you need a spot to stay Kingsland Lodges is a nice choice. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Kingsland Lake. Near Kingsland Lake you hit upon a golf course called Packsaddle Country Club, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Kingsland Lake; Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail is a great local trail. The yearly rainfall here at Kingsland Lake is about average; through May this area sees the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest.
