Kemp Lake is a rather wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain; August is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly interested in lakes, Chalmers Lake is one of those nearby; going for a       hike on the Purtis Creek State Park Trail is always a tremendous adventure.
