Cedar Creek is a nice local stream, and Brazos River RV Park is a perfect campground here. Throughout the months of summer at K Bar Lake Number 2 highs are usually in the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at K Bar Lake Number 2 are in the 30's. Float down the rapids of Childress       Creek in a kayak, and hiking is a popular thing to do around K Bar Lake Number 2; Lake Whitney State Park Hiking Trail is a great local trail. K Bar Lake Number 2 is a good site of common precipitation; May is the wettest month with most rain, and December meanwhile is the driest month.
