It's always fun to stop by John F Baugh Reservoir. There are nice spots to look at along the Mary Moore Searight Park Trail. There's so much to do here at John F Baugh Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, United Campgrounds-san Marcos is a tremendous location for that. From a rainfall point of view John F Baugh Reservoir is a reasonably typical place; May is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful.

This spot is excellent, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do close to John F Baugh Reservoir. There is a fine hiking trail in close proximity to John F Baugh Reservoir called the Prospect Park Trail; of course Blanco River is a beautiful
stream that is worth taking a look at. Here at John F Baugh Reservoir you'll most likely meet some folks from Austin-Round Rock; get wet paddling on San Marcos River. At John F Baugh Reservoir through the summertime months highs are
in the 90's while night lows are frequently in the 70's. Highs all through the wintertime are frequently in the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for John F Baugh Reservoir.
Going for a hike on the Lockhart State Park Trail is
always a perfect adventure, and wonderful water scenery is available at John F Baugh Dam close to John F Baugh Reservoir.
