At Jinks Pond throughout the months of summer highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 70's. Highs throughout the wintertime are commonly in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Jinks Pond sink into the 30's. Jinks Pond is not far at all from Beaumont-Port Arthur, and Suicide Bend is an attention-grabbing spot to stop by while at Jinks Pond. This lake       is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is J & J Motel; do pay a visit to Big Thicket National Preserve if you're here at Jinks Pond. Good hiking is available along the Roy E Larsen Sandyland Sanctuary Trail, and some nearby water includes Boggy Creek. After a long day outdoors Best Value Inn Hotel is a good place to spend a night or two, and camping is available at Forest Hollow RV Park. If you adore the outdoors, you'll fancy Jinks Pond.
