Jib Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Lochness Marina & Rv Park is a perfect place to camp nearby; if you've had enough of Jib Lake, Plum Lake is close by. If you need a site to stay Days Inn and Suites Huntsville is a magnificent choice. You think that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Dry       warm beds await you at Americas Best Value Inn Huntsville, and going for a hike on the Green Loop Trail is always a splendid adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There is a brilliant hiking trail near Jib Lake called the Stubblefield Lake Trail; Jib Lake is a site with many visitors from Huntsville. For the period of the warm months highs here at Jib Lake reach the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's, and                  after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Jib Lake fall into the 30's. From a rainfall point of view Jib Lake is a quite normal place; the month with most of the rain is May; July is when it's the driest. Near Jib Lake you hit upon the Huntsville State Park Trail which is a good hiking trail.
