You can take a little visit to Jameson Dam if you're here at Jameson Lake, and hiking along the Green Loop Trail is delightful fun. A round of golf at nearby Lake Estates Golf Club is a tremendous way to kill some time.       You'll need more than a day to discover everything Jameson Lake has to offer, you can camp at Heartland RV Park. Any time is a good time at Jameson Lake if you have a thing about the outdoors. Not far from Jameson Lake, you'll come across Thomas Lake which is a lovely lake, and why not take a little tour to Sutton Creek while you're here. Summertime brings highs in the 90's to Jameson Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 70's. The cold days of                  the winter come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows at Jameson Lake during the winter ordinarily plunge into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. You get a splendid panorama of Gospel Hill from Jameson Lake; while you're here you can take a hike along the Huntsville State Park Trail. The amount of rain that falls at Jameson Lake is close to the national average; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; August meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
