Going for a hike on the Big Thicket - Beech Woods Trail is always a splendid adventure, and if you need a place to stay Pinewood Inn is a magnificent choice. There are other locations here than Jackson Lake, for example Clear Lake. Throughout the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 90's at Jackson Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. Through       the winter highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Jackson Lake. You need to go to Yellow Bluff if you're here at Jackson Lake, and you can stay the night at Village Creek State Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Go for a hike on the Trout Creek Nature Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Gateway Inn Motel. Much rainfall falls at Jackson Lake; May is the wettest month with most rain while August is typically                  the driest month. Black Branch is a magnificent place to take a look at, and Beech Grove Campground is a great campground here. This lake is so wonderful.
