This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Flame Mobile Home and RV Park while you're here at Jackson Lake; nearby you come across the Purtis Creek State Park Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Camping at Jackson Lake is glorious fun, Texas Log Cabin and RV Park is a glorious local campground, and Best Western Inn On The Hill is a brilliant place to get some rest. Jackson Lake       is a location with many visitors from Athens; not far from Jackson Lake you'll find Dillard Lake which is a lovely lake. N M Jackson Dam is not far at all from Jackson Lake, and if you need a location to stay Quality Inn & Suites is a delightful choice. Now, you may think that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Jackson Lake. At Jackson Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures                  drop down into the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Jackson Lake descend into the 30's.
