Getting to Clear Creek from Inks Lake is easy; hiking along the Cedar Point Recreation Area Trail is nice fun. A lake nearby is Buchanan Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Post Oak Inn is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a sight of at Roy Inks Dam in the vicinity of Inks Lake, and Inks Lake       is right by the Longhorn Cavern State Park Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Inks Lake State Park Trail; a glorious place to camp here at Inks Lake is Big Chief RV Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Don’t forget to visit Hoovers Valley since you're here at Inks Lake, and get drenched paddling on Colorado River. Canyon Of The Eagles Lodge & Nature Center is a glorious location to get some rest, and Inks Lake is great                  enough to spend more than a day at, Heart Of Texas Lake Resort is a great local campground. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Sandy Creek. From a rain point of view Inks Lake is a reasonably normal location; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. At Inks Lake through the summer months highs are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Inks Lake.
