The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Indian Lake, and the overnight is quite colder of course, generally in the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Indian Lake. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Indian Lake has it all. Grassy Creek is one of       the streams close by that might be worth taking a look at. There's so much to do here at Indian Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rocky Hill Ranch is a pleasant place for that. Indian Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Buescher State Park is a good local campground, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Bastrop TX is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Lake Thunderbird is a nearby lake that you could check out, and going for                  a hike on the Buescher State Park Hiking Trail is always a fine adventure. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Indian Lake; through May this area sees the most rain; July is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
