Dry warm beds await you at Regency Inn, and Washington-On-The-Brazos is a pleasant campground here. Hughes Lake is a great location to camp, Artesian Park RV Campground is a great location, and fine hiking is available along the Washington - on - the - Brazos State Historic Site Trail. During the days of summer here at Hughes Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 70's.       High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 60's, and overnight lows in the 40's for Hughes Lake. But wait, there's more to do near Hughes Lake. Lakes are such calm locations, why not stop at Hughes Lake close to Hughes Lake, and great water scenery is available at Hughes Lake Dam near Hughes Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
