Camping is available at Oakdale Camp N Fish; House Lake Dam is not far at all from House Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GLEN ROSE; do stop at Upper House Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. House Lake is a place with many visitors from Granbury, and don't forget to take a magnificent little tour to West Fork East Bosque River.

| | the Dinosaur Valley State Park Trail, and if you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites Glen Rose is a great choice. Summertime highs at House Lake usually tend to be in the 90's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are usually in the 50's while House Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. December is typically the driest month.
While you're here at House Lake, you could also pop by lovely Arena Lake, and the Bosque Trail is a magnificent hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak
and hit North Bosque River, and why not camp at Oakdale Park if you're here at House Lake. This is no location for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. There is a pleasant hiking trail in the vicinity of House Lake called the
Meridian State Park Trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Paluxy River offers some wonderful whitewater.
