Don't forget to take a good little spree to Shirley Creek. There's so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Monterey Park Campground is a splendid spot for that. At Horseshoe Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 70's. High temperatures all through the winter       are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Horseshoe Lake dip into the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Lakeview Rv & Motel; if you came to camp Lakeview Campground is a nice location to do that. Brantley Motel is a nice site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Salt Lake is a fine lake close to Horseshoe Lake, and if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Sawmill Hiking Trail.
