So many cool things to do at Horseshoe Lake, so little time. A nice location to camp here at Horseshoe Lake is Sun Acres Mobile Home Park. An average amount of rainfall falls at Horseshoe Lake; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; August meanwhile is the driest month. There are other locations here than Horseshoe Lake, for example       Black Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Kilgore is a splendid place to spend a night or two. All through the summer highs here at Horseshoe Lake reach the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 70's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Horseshoe Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Horseshoe Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Shallow Creek Golf and RV Resort                  is a good local campground, and an afternoon playing golf at Shallow Creek Country Club is always a bliss.
