Holmes Lake is a good place of common rain; May is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is March. This lake is so wonderful. Darst Creek is a great site to visit. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites SEGUIN is a great place to get some rest; the Palmetto State Park - River Trail is a perfect hiking       trail nearby. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Holmes Lake. Holmes Lake is not the only place nearby, Dietz Lake is a nearby lake, and if you need a location to stay Americas Best Value Inn & Suites - Seguin is a pleasant choice. If you get bored of Holmes Lake, you could also check out nearby Bishop Lake, and if the weather is tremendous, you can go for a hike along the Palmetto State Park - Palmetto Trail. This lake                  is so wonderful. A tour to Sandy Hollow is always fun, and camping is available at Rivershad RV Park. All through the warm months at Holmes Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's, and the overnight is somewhat cooler of course, regularly in the 70's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Holmes Lake.
