There's so much to do here at Holly Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trailer Village Camper Park is a glorious place for that, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch a sight of at Holly Lake Dam near Holly Lake. Lots of rainfall falls at Holly Lake; most of the rain falls through May; August on the other hand is the driest. Through the warm months here at Holly       Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Holly Lake temperatures dip to the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Nacogdoches here, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Northpark Inn is a good place to spend a night or two. You'll need more than a day to explore                  everything Holly Lake has to offer, you can camp at Twin Oaks RV Park; a wonderful nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn. Getting to Boggy Branch from Holly Lake is easy; Caro Pine Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at.
