If you came for an overnight stay Colorado Bend State Park is a splendid place to camp. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Texas Hills RV Haven is a pleasant local campground; after a long day outdoors Best Western Llano is a good site to spend a night or two. Why not       take a refreshing hike along the Canyon of the Eagles Trail, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Cherokee Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Rattlesnake Pond is a good lake near High Pond; there's whitewater on Colorado River for all you thrill seekers.
