     Hidden Hill Lake is a nice lake to visit. Dry warm beds await you at Windsor Inn and Suites, and you're possibly hooked on lakes, Greenbriar Lake is one of those close by. The warmest time of the year at Hidden Hill Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Hidden Hill Lake.

   there plenty of amusing stuff to do right next door to Hidden Hill Lake. If you need a place to stay Baymont Inn and Suites Tyler is a pleasant choice, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Tyler State Park Trail. Hidden Hill Lake is a spot with many visitors from Tyler, and perhaps you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Hill Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at #1 RV Park of Tyler, and  
               Neches River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.
A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Hidden Hill Lake; all through May this area sees the most rain, and August meanwhile is the driest month. If you came for an overnight stay 5 Star RV Park is a fine place to camp, and why not take a look at Hidden Hill Dam while you're here.

...ak of, but you need to be prepared to make short portages and negotiate downed timber in the water. One area in particular you will need to tie some line off to your kayak and let it float under a downed tree, you crawl over the tree and then get back in. I'm sure the when and where the trees are down changes quite often.... And it looks like someone (probably the river authority) takes a saw down and cuts some of this out from time to time.

The put in location is correct. However, the take out is not. You need to float further down to the 175 bridge (less than 1/4th mile) and get out there.

I would suggest that experienced paddlers attempt this only when the water is high from heavy rains or when the dam is letting a lot of water out. There's vegetative litter stuck in the trees 10 foot above the water line.... So at some points of the year... This thing moves... And could represent dangers with the amount of timber.

You might consider taking a machete on this trip just in case. Don't forget the fishing pole, or if you are an archer, a bow for the huge gar and b...
