Going for a hike on the Buescher State Park Hiking Trail is always a brilliant adventure; Days Inn Bastrop is a good place to get some rest. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Hicks Lake temperatures are commonly in the 90's. Summer night lows drop down to the 70's. Highs through the wintertime are mostly in the 60's while                  Hicks Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Lost Pines Golf Club is a brilliant way to kill some time, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Bastrop TX. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time.
