Henry Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Arrowhead State Park is a wonderful local campground; hiking along the Lake Arrowhead State Park Trail is pleasant fun. Henry Lake is a good location of normal rainfall; during May this area sees the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. For the duration of the summer months at Henry Lake temperatures are frequently in the 90's.       Summer overnight lows fall down to the 70's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Henry Lake drop into the 20's. Henry Lake Dam is pretty and it's right next door to Henry Lake, and Howard Johnson Plaza Wichita Falls is a splendid spot to get some rest. This is a popular location for people from Wichita Falls, and dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Inn. This lake is so wonderful. A                  great site to camp here at Henry Lake is Wichata Falls RV Park, and close to Henry Lake you discover a golf course called River Creek Golf Course.
