Heep Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Throughout the days of summer at Heep Lake temperatures are frequently in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's, and night lows through the winter for Heep Lake tend to be in the 30's. | | Austin North At I-35 & Hwy 183 is a wonderful choice. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff at Heep Lake. The top of Woods Hill is easily seen from Heep Lake; you'll meet a lot of folks from Austin-Round Rock here.

RV Resort is a good place to do that; nearby you discover the Onion Creek Trail which is a good hiking trail. The Mary Moore Searight Park Trail is a perfect hiking trail next to Heep Lake; a fine site for whitewater paddling is Onion
Creek.
Barton Creek is a great whitewater spot in the vicinity of Heep Lake, and enjoy a round of golf at Clay Jimmy Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Rock Shelter Trail is always a nice adventure.
There's so much to do here at Heep Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Crestview Rv Center is a nice spot for that, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites BUDA.
