Haywire Lake Number 1 is a nice lake to visit. Paddling on Trinity River - West Fork is so much fun, and you can go for a hike on the Crosstimbers Trail. Haywire Lake Number 1 is a good spot of typical rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Points will no longer be a park open to the public while a gas well has been built less than 300' from the swimming area.
