In Texas there are many beautiful lakes, Hartzog Lake is one of them. This is a popular place for people from Clovis. Hartzog Lake gets very little rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is January. While you're here at Hartzog Lake, you could also pop by picturesque Williams Lake, and Hartzog Lake Dam is a picturesque location, without doubt worth going to.

Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Hartzog Lake. McKillip Lake is a nearby lake that you could explore; if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn & Suites is a nice choice.
