The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Hackberry Waterhole. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Hackberry Waterhole. Around Hackberry Waterhole you don’t get a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; January on the other       hand is the driest. While you're here at Hackberry Waterhole you can take a hike along the Lost Maples State Natural Area Trails; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Boneyard Waterhole. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Kerr Wildlife Management Area Trail. There's so much to do here at Hackberry Waterhole that you need to camp here for a while, Garner State Park is a fine spot for that.
