This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is delightful here at Gross Lake, you can go for a hike along the Dinosaur Valley State Park Trail, and a great nearby hotel is Days Inn Stephenville. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Pass Lake, and you can       run the rapids of Paluxy River. Do pop by Gross Dam while you're here at Gross Lake.
