A delightful nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Galveston; Bayou Shores RV Park is a brilliant local campground. Greens Bayou is a wet location that gets a great deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is March. This lake is so wonderful. Beachcomber Inn is a pleasant spot to get some rest, and at Greens Bayou you always meet someone from Houston-Baytown-Sugar       Land. You could also take a look at The Lagoon while you're here at Greens Bayou; it's close by, and while you're here, do take a trip to Greens Bayou. Yeah, come here to Greens Bayou for a nice time. Swamps don’t sound that great but Offatts Bayou in close proximity to Greens Bayou is reasonably great, and a lake close by is Sweetwater Lake. At Greens Bayou through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures                  fall down into the 70's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 60's, and winter nights come with lows in the 40's to Greens Bayou. If the weather is fine here at Greens Bayou, you can go for a hike along the Galveston Island State Park Trail; beaches are nice and West Beach is no exception. This lake is so wonderful.
