Grassy Pond is a wet location that gets much rain; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is August. Summertime highs at Grassy Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 90's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's. For the period of the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's; after the sun is down all through       the wintertime temperatures at Grassy Pond descend into the 30's. Camping is available at Mouth of Hickory Creek Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Ratcliff Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful.
