This is a splendid region for people who like lakes. Alligator Lake is a lake in the neighborhood. While you're here at Goss Lake you can take a hike along the Atlanta State Park Trail. There's so much to do here at Goss Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Shadey Park RV and Trailer Haven is a good place for that. Have a great hiking adventure along       the Rocky Point Park Trail, and don't forget to take a fine little trip to Cypress Slough. Goss Lake is a relatively wet place usually with a great deal of rain; December is the wettest month with most rain; August on the other hand is the driest. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Goss Lake temperatures are generally in the 90's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 70's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 50's, and overnight lows                  during the wintertime for Goss Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Inn Texarkana, and there are plenty of people from Texarkana here at Goss Lake.
