The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Goat Waterhole. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 60's while the cold winter nights at Goat Waterhole are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Goat Waterhole that       you need to camp here for a while, Clear River Campground is a wonderful location for that, and if you need a location to stay Quality Inn Uvalde is a wonderful choice. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Nueces River, and Boiling Springs is an inspiring spot to explore while you're here. A lake nearby is Bull Waterhole, and a fine location to explore close by is Bull Waterhole Draw. Goat Waterhole is                  pretty dried out generally; during the month of September you get the most rain around here while January is usually the driest month.
