     Camping is available at Lake Somerville-Birch State Park; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Matcek Lake. If you're visiting Glover Lake from College Station-Bryan, you won't be the only one; not far from Glover Lake you'll come across Sanders Lake which is a striking lake. Yeah, come here to Glover Lake for a perfect time. Go for a hike on the Lake Somerville Trailway, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Glover  
   Lake; Lake Bryan Trail is a tremendous local trail. Through the days of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Glover Lake, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Glover Lake.
Good hiking is available along the Yegua Creek Park Nature Trail, and there's always Glover Lake Dam to take a look at in the neighborhood of Glover Lake. This
