Georgs Hole is a great place to visit for more than one day, Cascade Caverns is a great place to camp nearby, and do stop at Pond Number Twentytwo, it's a pretty lake. The amount of rainfall that falls at Georgs Hole is close to the national average; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is January. Ransom Hill can be seen from Georgs Hole, and if you're here, you could       also go to beautiful Middleton Pond. Stay the night at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Guadalupe River. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things next to Georgs Hole. On a pleasant day at Georgs Hole you can take a hike along the Lewis Valley Trail, and you're sure to come across some great people from San Antonio here. This lake is so wonderful. For the period of the long summer days at Georgs Hole highs are typically in the 90's. All through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's.
