You'll need more than a day to explore everything       George Lake has to offer, you can camp at Triple Creek Recreational Vehicle, and you can go for a hike on the Big Thicket - Kirby Nature Trail. George Lake Dam is a scenic place in close proximity to George Lake, and a pretty lake like Horseshoe Lake is a fine place to check out. There's so much to do here at George Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Beech Grove Campground is a fine spot for that.
