Galbraith Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Courtyard Denton is a perfect choice, and if you came to camp Silver Dome Mobile Park is a pleasant place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. During your visit to Galbraith Lake you'll meet some people from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington for sure. A good nearby hotel is Quality Inn And Suites, and you can run the rapids of Denton Creek.

| | Lake is uncomplicated. If you're a golfer then a delightful nearby course is Texas Woman's University Golf Course, and the scenery at Galbraith Lake Dam is beautiful. Do check out Unicorn Lake near Galbraith Lake, it's a picturesque lake; going for a hike on the North Lakes Park Trail is always a good adventure. Camping at Post Oak Place is always a nice experience; nearby you hit upon the Pilot Knoll Trail which is a splendid hiking trail.

whitewater paddling in close proximity to Galbraith Lake is Furneaux Creek, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the South Lakes Park Trail. Galbraith Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; May is the wettest month
with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Galbraith Lake. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 70's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Galbraith Lake are in the 30's.
