Galbraith Lake really is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Galbraith Lake is not the only location nearby, John Knox Village Lake is a nearby lake, and if you're a golfer then a magnificent close by course is Texas Woman's University Golf Course. during summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Galbraith Lake throughout the winter commonly drop into the 30's.
There is a splendid hiking trail right
next door to Galbraith Lake called the Pilot Knoll Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Exel Inn Of Denton. The South Lakes Park Trail is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Galbraith Lake, and after a long day outdoors Courtyard
Denton is a splendid spot to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Galbraith Lake is tremendous fun, Silver Dome Mobile Park is a tremendous local campground, and an interesting thing to go to close to Galbraith Lake is Galbraith Lake Dam.
