Recreation Park is a good site to camp nearby; Gabe Lake Dam is a wonderful site, unquestionably worth visiting. That right there is lots already, but it keeps on going; Gabe Lake has it all. Jones Lake is a great lake right next
door to Gabe Lake, and after a long day outdoors San Antonio/Lytle Days Inn is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. A beautiful lake like Chacowalla Water Hole in the neighborhood of Gabe Lake is a delightful place to have a look at, and from Gabe Lake you get a brilliant view of Indian Hill.
