This is a good region for people who like lakes. Northgate Reservoir is a lake close at hand, and the Castner Range is a major highlight of the vicinity close by. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the area near Fusselman Reservoir has to offer. Fusselman Reservoir really is in the middle of a delightful outdoors paradise. The sight of wonderful Castner Range       near Fusselman Reservoir is great, and you can go for a hike on the Ron Coleman Hiking Trail. High temperatures at Fusselman Reservoir through the days of summer are in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's with temperatures at Fusselman Reservoir dipping down into the 20's during winter nights. Around Fusselman Reservoir you don’t get a lot of rainfall; August is when you get the most rain                  here while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Fusselman Dam has delightful water scenery and it's close to Fusselman Reservoir, and there are wonderful spots to look at along the Wilderness Park Museum Trail. Good hiking is available along the McKelligon Canyon Bike Trail, and this is a popular spot for people from El Paso. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Range Reservoir; Indian Spring is a tremendous local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Howard Johnson Express Inn El Paso Tx, and a great location to camp here at Fusselman Reservoir is Gaslight Square Mobile Home. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - EL PASO is a great place to spend a night or two, and golf can be played at Painted Dunes Desert Golf Course.
