A lot of precipitation falls at Frontier Lake; May is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. While you're here at Frontier Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Huntsville. There's so much to do here at Frontier Lake that you need       to camp here for a while, Thousand Trails is a nice site for that. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Frontier Lake through the summer months are in the 90's, and the night is quite colder of course, regularly in the 70's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 60's while Frontier Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time. There are other places                  here than Frontier Lake, for example Lake Arrowhead Number 2, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Willis is a nice choice. This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try Chicken Creek; a tremendous close by hotel is La Quinta Inn And Suites Conroe. Lake Arrowhead Number 3 is a nice lake close to Frontier Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Frontier Lake; Lone Star Trail is a pleasant local trail.
