A lake close by is Threemile Lake, and a nice place to camp here at Fourmile Lake is Suburban East RV Park. Why not camp at Texas RV Park Of Big Spring if you're here at Fourmile Lake, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Big Spring, Tx is a wonderful site to spend a night or two. Fourmile Lake is regularly a reasonably dry place; through the month of September you get the most rain around here; January is when       it's the driest. Best Western Palace Inn & Suites is a tremendous location to get some rest, obviously you could also go to Salt Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. That right there is plenty already, but it keeps on going; Fourmile Lake has it all. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course near Fourmile Lake is Comanche Trail Municipal Golf Course, and Fourmile Lake is a location with many visitors from Big Spring. Through the summer at Fourmile                  Lake highs are generally in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's.
