Going for a hike along the Buescher State Park Hiking Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and at Foster Lake you can catch a glimpse of High Point. A nice nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Bastrop, and Bastrop River RV Park is a perfect campground       here. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Colovista Country Club, and hiking along the Lost Pines Trail is splendid fun. If you adore the outdoors, you'll adore Foster Lake. Foster Lake is a perfect spot to camp, Bastrop RV Park is a perfect spot, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Southern Loop Trail. Summertime highs at Foster Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's, and the night is a bit colder of course,                  typically in the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; night lows in the 30's for Foster Lake.
