Forman Lake is right by the Old Tram Hiking Trail, as expected you could also stop by Brushy Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the vicinity of Forman Lake. There's so much to do here at Forman Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mouth of Hickory Creek Campground is a perfect site for that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Mission Tejas State Park       Trail. Stay the night at Neches Bluff Campground. For the period of the warmest time of the year here at Forman Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Forman Lake dipping down into the 30's during winter nights. Weston Inn & Suites is a splendid site to get some rest; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Jacksonville.                  This lake is so wonderful. Allen Branch is a pleasant local stream; the scenery at Duren Lake Dam is wonderful.
