A normal amount of rain falls here at Ford Lake; May is when you get the most rain here while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Cousin Spring is always fun to check out, and a tremendous close by hotel is Motel 6. Summer at Ford Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; during the dark hours in the winter at Ford Lake temperatures descend to the 30's.

Dam is worth taking a look at while you're here, and why not camp at Tyler State Park if you're here at Ford Lake. Here at Ford Lake you'll probably meet some people from Tyler, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Tyler State Park Trail.
