| | Flag Pond highs are typically in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 70's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Flag Pond temperatures sink to the 30's. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. A good location to camp here at Flag Pond is Lake Somerville-Birch State Park; a nice nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Brenham, Texas. Flag Pond gets a typical amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May; August is when it's the driest. | |
