The beauty of Flag Pond attracts many people from all around. At Flag Pond during the summertime highs are in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Flag Pond. After a long day outdoors Ashley Mountain is a great place to spend a night or two. | | View Landing is a splendid spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. The Daingerfield State Park Trail is a nice hiking trail close to Flag Pond.
The high level of rain makes Flag Pond a quite wet spot; through April this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is August. A good close by hotel is Twin Oaks Country Inn. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Flag Pond has to offer, you can camp at Caddo Lake Camp Ground. | |
