Here at Fisher Lake you'll probably meet some people from Longview; if you've had enough of Fisher Lake, Savoy Lake is close by. Don't forget to take a magnificent little journey to Hawkins Creek, obviously you could also go to Cemetery Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. PineRidge RV Park is a pleasant local campground, and a nice close by hotel is Days Inn Kilgore.

| | the driest month is August. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Fisher Lake you get some good water scenery at Lake Harris Dam; golf can be played at Wood Hollow Golf Course. High temperatures at Fisher Lake through the long summer days are in the 90's. Through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 70's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's; overnight lows at Fisher Lake throughout the winter generally fall into the 30's.
