Texas has many beautiful lakes and Farrell Lake Number 1 is one of them. Farrell Lake Number 1 is not far at all from Granbury, and you can run the rapids of Meridian Creek. Summer at Farrell Lake Number 1 comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Summer night lows fall down to the 70's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Dinosaur Valley State Park Trail is always a glorious adventure; do stop at Beard Dam while you're here. A normal amount of rain falls here at Farrell Lake Number 1; throughout the month of May you get the most rain around here, and December on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.

already, but it keeps on going; Farrell Lake Number 1 has it all. The Bosque Trail is a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Farrell Lake Number 1, and dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn and Suites Glen Rose. There is a
great hiking trail close to Farrell Lake Number 1 called the Meridian State Park Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Hill Country RV Park is a glorious location to camp. Meridian State Park is a magnificent local campground;
after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites GLEN ROSE is a great place to spend a night or two.
