Lakes are wonderful; Burger Lake is a lake that's right next door to Ewing Lake; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Knob Hills Trail. Ewing Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; during May this area sees the most rain while January is commonly the driest month. Going for a hike on the South Lakes Park Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and this is a popular location for folks from Dallas -Fort Worth-Arlington.

This lake is so wonderful. Some close by water includes Cade Branch, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Roanoke Inn & Suites.
This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Denton Creek in the vicinity of Ewing Lake; Doral Tesoro Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. You can take a little trip to Ewing Lake Dam while you're here at Ewing Lake, and camping at Ranch Creek Mobile Home and RV is always a nice experience.
