Through the warm months at Els Lake temperatures are usually in the 90's, and through the night it cools down to the 70's. The winter comes with highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Els Lake descend into the 30's. A great place to camp here at Els Lake       is Lake Somerville-Nails, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Schoenberg Lake. Be careful coming to Els Lake, you might not ever wanna go back home again. A good nearby hotel is Americas Best Value Inn-Giddings; if you need a place to stay Ramada - Giddings is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Els Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Round Top RV Park is a fine local campground, and naturally,                  this is a tremendous vicinity for people who like lakes, Moye Lake is a lake close by. Els Lake gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month with most of the rain is May, and the driest month is July. Looking for some flowing water?
