Going for a hike along the Malabang Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cibolo Creek. While you're here at Elm Waterhole you can take a hike along the Wilderness Trail, and camping at Green Tree Village North Park is always a brilliant experience. From a precipitation point of view Elm Waterhole is a rather normal       location; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Courtyard San Antonio North/Stone Oak at Legacy is a brilliant location to get some rest, and Guadalupe River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. Just can't get enough of Elm Waterhole. You'll meet a lot of people from San Antonio here; the top of Classen Hill is easily seen from Elm Waterhole. If                  you're here at Elm Waterhole and you like golf, you can visit Canyon Springs Golf Club, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Hill Country Suites is a good spot to spend a night or two. High temperatures at Elm Waterhole through the summer months are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while Elm Waterhole nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
